If you are a Singapore Citizen under 60 receiving Workfare, you can get a card that gives 25% off adult bus and train fares, or a monthly pass around $92 for unlimited basic travel. Apply for the Workfare Transport Concession Card through SimplyGo or a TransitLink ticket office once you are getting Workfare.
